The 30s Cognac Glass won the Silver Award from the A’ Design Award and Competition in 2018-2019 in the Arts, Crafts and Ready-Made Design Award Category.

The 30s Cognac Glass by Saara Korppi is specially designed for drinking cognac. It is free-blown in a Glass Studio, making every cognac glass unique. The glasses are made of recycled glass.

The Cognac Glass is easy to hold and looks interesting from all angles. The shape of the glass reflects light from different angles, adding extra enjoyment to drinking. The bottom of the cup has two inner-blown arches forming a special flattened shape. Due to the flattened shape of the cup, you can place the glass on the table as you wish, resting on either of its sides.

The name and concept of the work celebrate the artist's aging. The design reflects the nuances of aging and evokes the tradition of aging cognac improving in quality. The recommended maximum liquid level is halfway up an inner arch when you hold the glass. The sections provide a perfect place to hold the glass and smell the drink's aroma. Watch the reflections of the liquid from all angles. After drinking the cognac, you can place the glass on the table on either side. The glass is dishwasher safe.
